Sun Gazing at Aldo Leopold Nature Center

Come to ALNC and take a look at the Sun with a special telescope! Learn about sunspots and solar flares. Connect the power of our star, the one we orbit around, with the landscape around us.
This is a bilingual English/Spanish activity conducted by PolarTREC teacher Juan Botella with support from UW Space Place and the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) through “El Universo es Tuyo” (The Universe Is Yours).
This program is free with regular admission to ALNC’s exhibit areas from 10am-2pm ($4 for ages 18+, $3 for children ages 3+, seniors, students and military personnel; free for ALNC members)

Este programa es gratuito con la entrada regular a los espacios de exhibición del ALNC de 10 am a 2pm. ($4 para mayors de 18 años, $3 para niños mayores de 3 años, jubilados, estudiantes y persuni_es_tuyoonal militar; gratis para los miembros del ALNC)
