If you didn’t have snow over your holidays, you can enjoy it vicariously through these South Pole pictures.  They had all kinds of fun in the snow—sledding and tubing, snowmobiling, and running a race!  The sledding worked up their appetite for a lavish Christmas dinner.  There were also two parties and the annual Race Around the World, traditionally held on Christmas day.  Both of IceCube’s winterovers participated. Raffaela won the women’s division, while Johannes completed the race in style, sledding through the whole 2.27-mile course in a cardboard Herc.  The photo at bottom shows they were all smiles afterward.
