Sun and clouds behing ICL

It might be cold, but it’s summer at the South Pole, and the sun was out in full force, captured in this image of the IceCube Lab (ICL) with a striking mass of clouds cutting a swath through the sky.  As the year winds down, the winterovers remain busy with detector maintenance, server upgrades, and continued training. Cargo also continues to arrive and must be put somewhere … the ICL has been filling up.  Last week also saw some large group photos, which gave winterover Martin an opportunity to get a nice panoramic shot in front of the station.
