There’s a bit of prep work involved in getting the station ready for its summer opening. IceCube winterovers Ian and Dag used this time to perform an IceTop snow survey and to finish up snow removal around the ICL. Well, one of them is doing some shoveling at least. (Hey, rest is important.) No shovels were involved in creating some of the interesting shapes found in the snow drifts around the buildings. The wind itself takes care of that. Too bad the wind doesn’t take care of the dishes.
