Another week brings yet another storm.  IceCube winterover Johannes braved the elements and trekked out to the ICL to work on cleaning the glass plate of the IceACT telescope, see image below.  It wasn’t such a smooth process since the isopropyl alcohol froze within 30 seconds on the cold glass plate and the nozzle of the bottle also froze up after a few minutes, requiring a trip indoors to thaw it out.  Midwinter is approaching, so the winterovers got together for a group photo that they’ll use to send out traditional greetings to other stations.  Looks like a bunch of happy campers.  Back indoors, the greenhouse is in full force.
