Week 22 at the Pole
Last week at the Pole the entire winterover crew got together to take a group photo. They normally do this each year, but not always with such spectacular results. This year they chose an outdoor venue with an aurora backdrop. Apparently only one previous winterover crew had also chosen this setting. We’re glad this year’s crew did—they got a great group photo out of the bargain. Also last week, in the arena of work, IceCube’s winterovers had some fun dealing with hardware issues and, in the food realm, Christian helped serve up some German fare, schnitzel and spätzle (no photos of the meal, but one of the galley menu, which looks rather interesting for its own reasons).
