If you find yourself at the South Pole, and the sky above you is sparkling with stars and shimmering with auroras, you might just want to lie down and stare straight up for best effect.  That’s what winterover Martin did recently, seen above in front of the flags at the ceremonial South Pole.  Below we see both Martin and James standing near the ICL and waving in greeting to all the IceCubers who congregated last week for their spring collaboration meeting.  Besides spectacular auroras, another highlight from last week at the Pole was an amazing pizza dinner following completion of work being done in the kitchen.
