Joshua Wood, University of Maryland, will be giving a talk, "Initial Results from HAWC on Gamma-Ray Bursts," as part of the NPAC Forum on Wednesday, February 17. The talk is hosted by Prof. Stefan Westerhoff and begins at 2:00 pm in Room 5280, Chamberlin Hall.
In this talk, he will review HAWC performance and present results concentrating on an initial search for very high energy gamma-ray emission from GRBs with significant sensitivity to short transients with energies as small as 50 GeV.
