WIPAC is participating in the MLK Day of Service, a day dedicated to service with connections to STEAM. The Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery is hosting local students on the King Holiday for "a day ON, not a day OFF," as part of United We Serve, the President's national call to service initiative.
As a part of the MLK Day of Service students will hear about the IceCube project from scientists and students working at the South Pole. This international collaboration must focus on communication and productivity across cultures to achieve a common goal.
