El Universo es Tuyo is participating in Centro Hispano's Escalera STEM Summer Club for 9th and 10th grade Latino students. On Thursday, June 23 the sudents will construct a scale model of the Solar System. Students will discuss the Solar System and scientific models; and then learn how to make the necessary calculations to create a Solar Stem to model scale. After learning the science behind the application, students will undergo a mini excursion recreating the Solar System to scale within the city of Madison.
