The Davis-Bahcall program at the Sanford Underground Research Facility selects 10 students to spend five weeks of their summer exploring the world of modern scientific research at some of the nation’s leading laboratories and universities. The group will visit with researchers and IT professionals at WIPAC to hear about the construction, maintenance, and science of the IceCube Neutrino Observatory. In addition, they will see 3D visualizations of neutrino events as observed by IceCube in the Discovery Building's virtual reality CAVE.
